Why it's Low GI

Just fruit blended and frozen — no added sugar, no cream. Banana gives natural sweetness and body while blackcurrants add vitamin C and a tart edge; stevia rounds it off without raising blood sugar.

Method

Tap a step when it's done.

  1. Blend all the ingredients thoroughly until smooth.
  2. Pour into ice-lolly moulds (not a single container, so they freeze evenly).
  3. Freeze for 1–3 hours until solid.
  4. To unmould, dip the mould briefly in hot water.
